SEEDLOAM

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026

This policy explains what SEEDLOAM collects, why, and the control you have. We keep it small on purpose: we collect what the app needs to work, and nothing to sell.

What we collect

  • Account: your email, and a securely hashed password.
  • Profile (optional): a name, rough age, and how you want to be pictured - taken from the quiz to personalize the app. You can leave these blank.
  • Your garden: your goals, schedule (sleep, work, commitments), session logs, and journal notes.
  • Usage analytics: anonymous product events (screens viewed, sign-up, checkout) to understand what works, via PostHog. Tied to a random device id, not your name.

How we use it

To run your account, place your plan in the free time around your real week, personalize the assistant, and improve the product. We do not sell your data or use your journal entries for advertising.

Where it lives & who we share with

  • Storage: on Cloudflare’s infrastructure (database and workers).
  • Payments: purchases are made through Apple's in-app purchase sheet. Apple takes the payment and we never see your card details. RevenueCat receives the store receipt and a user id, and tells our server whether your plan is active.
  • Analytics: PostHog, for anonymous product usage.
  • AI assistant: when you use the assistant, the schedule details it needs are processed by an AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.3 70B). The request stays on Cloudflare's network. It is used to plan, not to profile you, and is not used to train third-party models.
  • Email: account and reminder letters are delivered by Resend on our behalf. They receive your address and the letter itself, nothing more.

These providers process data on our behalf; we do not sell personal data to anyone.

On your phone

Some features ask the phone for permission, and what they touch stays on the phone. App shielding: iOS hands back the apps you chose as anonymous tokens kept in the app's own container, and we are only ever told how many, never which. Notifications: reminders for your sittings and one line about your day. Calendar and Reminders: we write the sittings you planned, and read only the start and end of your existing busy hours so sessions can be placed around them. Photos and Camera: only when you pick or take a gardener portrait. The home screen widget and the Live Activity read a copy of today that the app writes into that same container. Every one of these can be refused, and turned off later in the phone's own settings.

Your control

You can delete your account and everything in it from the app, under You then Account. For a copy of your writing, email us and we will send it. Deleting your account does NOT cancel a subscription bought through the App Store: that belongs to your Apple ID and is stopped in Settings. Downgrading never deletes anything - your words stay yours.

Your rights over your data

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to a use of it, or withdraw a consent you gave. One email to support@seedloam.com is enough; we answer within 30 days and never charge for it. If you are in the EU or the UK, those are your rights under the GDPR and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the same rights of access and deletion, and we do not sell or share personal information as those words are used there.

Retention & children

We keep your data while your account exists, then remove it when you delete the account (backups clear on their normal cycle). Apple and RevenueCat keep their own purchase records under their own policies. SEEDLOAM is not directed at children; please do not use it if you are under 16 (or the minimum age in your country, if that is higher).
