How the garden works

Plant once, tend for as long as your day allows, and let the week keep your record for you. Everything below answers the rest.

Questions the soil hears often

Do I need an account?

Yes, one email and one password. That is the whole key ring. Your garden lives on the server, so any device with your email opens the same soil.

What do the free days cover?

The core stays free for good. Seven premium days start when you finish First Planting; an annual invite code adds a whole free month. No card until you choose to stay.

What happens if I stop paying?

The garden rests. Nothing is deleted, every word stays yours, and the export door never locks. Water it again any time and it wakes where you left it.

Can I take my data with me?

Always. Account page, Download my garden: one file with every log, season and seed.

I missed a few days. Did I break something?

No. Missing days simply do not exist here: no red gaps, no zeros. A broken day, written down, feeds the soil more than a kept day hidden.

Make the phone go quiet during your window

Apps cannot switch your phone into Focus mode for you, but your phone can do it on a schedule. Two minutes, once:

iPhone

Settings, Focus, tap +, create one named after your window (Embers, for example). Under Set a Schedule, add your window hour. Allow SEEDLOAM notifications inside it so the nudge still lands. Your phone now goes quiet at the same hour your garden opens.

Android

Settings, Digital Wellbeing (or Modes on newer phones), create a mode with a schedule at your window hour and allow SEEDLOAM as an exception.

Still stuck? Write to us

A person reads every letter, usually within two days. Tell us what you were doing and what the garden did instead.
